I wanted to take my mum to this store to look for an outfit for my wedding before realising the store was closed (on a... monday) but phoned just in case. Shirley messaged me straight back and arranged for an appointment that afternoon with Catheline and the experience was amazing! Catheline was so lovely and picked out amazing dresses for mum to try and of the 5, she really could have chosen all of them. The service was exceptional and refreshingly honest. There are not many stores around which cater for classy Mother of the Bride and i'd gladly travel across town again to visit.read more

Thank you to Shirley and Kathleen. You were both amazing with helping me find a dress for my brothers wedding. Shirley,... you really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable (when I don't like or wear dresses) and made me feel beautiful in the dress I ended up choosing. I didn't think I would find a dress that would suit my body type but you really did show you cared and persisted without hesitation with finding something that would suit my age and body to make me feel beautiful. Thank you so much for being genuine and not pushy like other places - you showed a real life genuine care with what you do and have a great eye for detail. I'm definitely NOT a shopper, and I have zero fashion sense, so although I am delighted that our one-and-only daughter... is engaged, I was NOT looking forward to shopping for a 'mother-of-the-bride' dress. Two friends / work colleagues recommended I visit 'Moments Boutique' first, assuring me that the lady there is incredibly helpful and really knows fashion. I am beyond grateful that I took their advice!!!Shirley is quite literally an answer to prayer! She immediately made me feel welcome and seemed to genuinely 'get' me. After asking me a couple of questions, she grabbed a few dresses for me to try on. Instead of being overwhelmed by too many options, Shirley made the whole experience fun and positive.I am thrilled to share that I bought the 'perfect' dress today!! I absolutely LOVE it, and can hardly believe that we had success on our very first shopping expedition. I am delighted that it's Australian made, and the earrings Shirley paired with the dress (which I bought also) are made right here in Brisbane!!! I also bought the clutch purse Shirley used to help me see the complete picture. So now, I'm almost set for the big day!!!I cannot recommend Shirley, Catheline, and their no-stress shopping experience highly enough. Do yourself a favour, and visit this shop FIRST ... and possibly save yourself a LOT of time, tears and money!!! I know that I'll be back next time I need a dress for any special function ... I'm even looking forward to that already!!!read more

I walked into Moments Boutique not having any idea what I was after and feeling quite anxious and uncomfortable as I'm... not a shopper.But I can tell you from the moment I walked in Kathleen was so friendly patient and understanding with me I felt at ease straight away. Went here with my mum so she could find a dress for my wedding. From the moment we walked in Shirley and Kathleen made... us feel so welcome. They were both so helpful and provided expert advice. There is a huge selection to choose from for any occasion and mum can’t wait to come back and try more on. I would recommend anyone to go here if you want something different and unique. From a customer who hyperventilates fashion shopping to having nightmares at the thoughts of special events, Shirley... was just what the doctor ordered. She was patient, considerate, thoughtful and understanding providing comments both positive and negative. Shirley found "the right" outfit and even had on hand shoes, fascinators and all the accessories needed to make the outfit shine. Nothing was too much trouble, and I am so thankful.read more

Shirley was so helpful assisting me to purchase a dress, she gave an incredible discount because I was in a different... state and unable to try the dress on. She emailed me extra photos and was very quick to reply to questions about sizing etc. The experience was so easy and my dress arrived very quickly and is just perfect :) Great experience!read more

These ladies are amazing. 5 STARS all around. It really does show you how much nicer it is sometimes to deal with... small local businesses. Just so friendly, accommodating and helpful. They have the most beautiful formal wear and accessories for that special event. I found both my outfits for our son and daughters weddings this year and would highly recommend this special boutique. Could not recommend Moments Boutique high enough! My Mum was shopping for an outfit for a formal occasion and found the... perfect dress here. Customer service, hospitality and their attention to detail were second to none. Finding the right dress has been difficult but this experience was a breeze. Thank you so much ladies!! What a wonderful experience purchasing a dress! First time ever I enjoyed buying a dress! The owner made me feel so... special she was so caring and kind and wasn’t pushy but helped in every way possible! This was by far the most unique shopping experience I have ever had, and made me feel so happy. I’d recommend this shop to all women who don’t feel good about themselves. This store was recommended to us by a Bridal Shop and we now know why. Shirley was so helpful and above else honest.... She was so easy to deal with and her garments were beautiful. I found a dress for my sons wedding with no stress and so reasonably priced. It is stunning!!!! My Mum is the next one to be outfitted by Shirley. Purchased a lovely gown for my Daughters formal, we must have taken up a good 2 hours of trying what seemed like a... million dresses (fussy teen), always the last one, but the best. It's Your Moment Formal Wear is, hands down, my favourite shop. I just bought the most beautiful designer dress at 50%... off. The customer service was brilliant, as well. I couldn't fault them.
My three children came along with me and didn't want to leave. They loved the play corner which was stocked with dolls, lego and toy cars. I can't wait to return and will tell everyone I know about what a wonderful experience I had.read more
