I wanted to take my mum to this store to look for an outfit for my wedding before realising the store was closed (on a... monday) but phoned just in case. Shirley messaged me straight back and arranged for an appointment that afternoon with Catheline and the experience was amazing! Catheline was so lovely and picked out amazing dresses for mum to try and of the 5, she really could have chosen all of them. The service was exceptional and refreshingly honest. There are not many stores around which cater for classy Mother of the Bride and i'd gladly travel across town again to visit.read more

Shirley,... you really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable (when I don't like or wear dresses) and made me feel beautiful in the dress I ended up choosing. I didn't think I would find a dress that would suit my body type but you really did show you cared and persisted without hesitation with finding something that would suit my age and body to make me feel beautiful. I'm definitely NOT a shopper, and I have zero fashion sense, so although I am delighted that our one-and-only daughter... is engaged, I was NOT looking forward to shopping for a 'mother-of-the-bride' dress. Two friends / work colleagues recommended I visit 'Moments Boutique' first, assuring me that the lady there is incredibly helpful and really knows fashion. I am beyond grateful that I took their advice!!!Shirley is quite literally an answer to prayer! She immediately made me feel welcome and seemed to genuinely 'get' me. After asking me a couple of questions, she grabbed a few dresses for me to try on. Instead of being overwhelmed by too many options, Shirley made the whole experience fun and positive.I am thrilled to share that I bought the 'perfect' dress today!! I absolutely LOVE it, and can hardly believe that we had success on our very first shopping expedition. I am delighted that it's Australian made, and the earrings Shirley paired with the dress (which I bought also) are made right here in Brisbane!!! I also bought the clutch purse Shirley used to help me see the complete picture. So now, I'm almost set for the big day!!!I cannot recommend Shirley, Catheline, and their no-stress shopping experience highly enough. From a customer who hyperventilates fashion shopping to having nightmares at the thoughts of special events, Shirley... was just what the doctor ordered. She was patient, considerate, thoughtful and understanding providing comments both positive and negative. These ladies are amazing. 5 STARS all around. It really does show you how much nicer it is sometimes to deal with... small local businesses. Just so friendly, accommodating and helpful. They have the most beautiful formal wear and accessories for that special event. I found both my outfits for our son and daughters weddings this year and would highly recommend this special boutique. What a wonderful experience purchasing a dress! First time ever I enjoyed buying a dress! This store was recommended to us by a Bridal Shop and we now know why. Shirley was so helpful and above else honest.... She was so easy to deal with and her garments were beautiful. It's Your Moment Formal Wear is, hands down, my favourite shop. I just bought the most beautiful designer dress at 50%... off. The customer service was brilliant, as well. I couldn't fault them.
My three children came along with me and didn't want to leave. They loved the play corner which was stocked with dolls, lego and toy cars. I can't wait to return and will tell everyone I know about what a wonderful experience I had.read more
